My "1st Responder" Incident

Last weekend My team was on the way back to the Hotel after leaving the racetrack when we came upon car wreck. Police were on the scene but no sign of Medical. I always carry my Trama Kit with me at races because that seems to be the only time I need it. I used to be a 1st Responder and I had my new friend Kelsey with me and she actively serves in a Army Medical Unit. So, without hesitation, I stopped to offer assistance. I assessed the situation, one victim, primarily Hispanic speaking, female. No obvious visible injuries, but had neck pain and was very scared.

Stull visited Fort Sam Houston Nov. 19 to speak about her experiences at the 32nd Medical Brigade Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast. Following the breakfast she parked her dragster at the Rocco Dining Facility, visited with Soldiers and signed autographs. "I really appreciate the Soldiers who serve, because the job they do allows me to do what I do," she said. "My getting to drive race cars is entertainment. People in the military are changing history. It's important that when they go out to do their job, they know they are fully supported here at home."

Racers are Gearing up to Host Troops in Houston

Baytown, TX. - 'Tickets for Troops', a free ticket program aimed at showing appreciation and support to local military members is gearing up for a day of racing at Houston Raceway Park. Four lady drag racers are combining resources to host the troops and their families.
