Just an average day.

Having an average day. Finally kicking back into racing mode and am ready to move forward. This year everything is new, new sponsors new way of doing things but things have been very receptive and not so many closed doors. Sometimes I think that with a good foundation I can just keep building on it and things will get easier but I am finding that to often the only thing left standing is that foundation and now for another season I will have to build it all over again. By faith I have to believe that this is the best for me. And I have to admit through all the discomfort of not knowing what is going to happen next or what I will be facing I have come out the other side a better person, that is a bit wiser and stronger. I am grateful that I even get to consider racing as a full time job. It is a blessing beyond all I can express because I know this really is where I am supposed to be and to have that peace is what gives me the strength and determination to move forward even when the odds are against me. This year has been challenging for almost everyone I know, and I don't believe that my challenge is more difficult in anyway it is just very different circumstances from most. I see those that are growing through this time, motivated to action. Focusing on the bigger picture that most of us have trusted to auto pilot for far to long. As Christians we need to stand up for justice and what's right. We need to call out the liars and cheaters, those who accept bribes, and use deceit to gain power and riches. The weak, the helpless, the orphaned and widows are suppose to be whom we protect and it is the weak and unlearned that are being deceived the most. Who will stand up for them? When God said he would send help he meant the Church. That mean me and you, not the Church Membership, program or organization. There is no group that is going to go do it. It is a calling to each one of us as an individual to act. Yes we will get flack, yes we will be called names but we have to do what is right just because it is the right thing to do. Because if you do not answer when God calls to you to respond, who will answer when you call out to God? I Know my God will answer me when I call because he gave me his word he would. That is enough for me.
